O interessado em se candidatar no pós-doutorado deve seguir os procedimentos que estão no Regimento Interno do Pós-Doutorado:

O interessado para o e-mail da coordenação do PPGInf (ppginf@inf.ufpr.br) os seguintes documentos em formato .PDF:

  1. Carta do candidato dirigida ao Coodenador do PPGInf manifestando seu interesse de ingresso no Programa.
  2. Link para o CV Lattes
  3. Carta do docente supervisor, que deve ser docente ou pesquisador do PPGInf, com no mínimo título de Doutor, explicitando anuência em supervisionar o pós-doutorando, no projeto de pós-doutorado.
  4. Comprovação de financiamento por agência de fomento ou outra instituição ou comprovante de afastamento para realização da pesquisa.
  5. Cópia do RG e CPF
  6. Comprovação de título de Doutor.
  7. Projeto de pós-doutorado, de no máximo 15 páginas no modelo de artigos a SBC, contendo plano de pesquisa e plano de atividades(coorientação e/ou atividades de ensino), a ser desenvolvido pelo proponente.

Esta resolução descreve regras para integração no programa, não tratando de formas de financiamento. O programa tem usualmente duas possibilidades de financiamento:

  • Financiamento por projeto de pesquisa: um projeto de pesquisa específico possui financiamento para pós-doutorado. A existência deste tipo de financiamento depende de disponibilidade de cada grupo de pesquisa, que também será responsável pela seleção dos candidatos.
  • Financiamento institucional CAPES PNPD (Programa Nacional de Pós-Doutorado): o programa possui 1 bolsa PNPD que é atribuída regularmente, por períodos de 12 meses. Chamadas para este tipo de seleção são lançadas no site do PPGInf (veja abaixo).

Those interested in applying for postdoctoral studies must follow the procedures set out in Regimento Interno do Pós-Doutorado:

To apply for a postdoctoral degree at UFPR, the interested party must send the following documents to the e-mail of the PPGInf coordinator (ppginf@inf.ufpr.br):

  1. Letter from the candidate addressed to the Coordinator of PPGInf expressing his interest in joining the Program.
  2. Link to the CV Lattes
  3. Letter from the supervisor teacher, who develops the teacher or researcher of PPGInf, with at least a doctor’s degree, expressing an agreement to supervise the postdoctoral student, in the postdoctoral project.
  4. Proof of participation by a development agency or other institution or proof of removal to carry out the research.
  5. Passport
  6. Proof of Doctor’s degree.
  7. Post-doctoral project, with a maximum of 15 pages without template of articles to SBC, containing research plan and activity plan (co-orientation and / or teaching activities), one developed by the proponent.

 

This resolution describes rules for integration into the program, not addressing forms of funding. The program usually has two funding possibilities:

  • Funding by research project: a specific research project has postdoctoral funding. The existence of this type of funding depends on the availability of each research group, which will also be responsible for the selection of candidates.
  • Institutional financing CAPES PNPD (National Postdoctoral Program): the program has 1 PNPD grant that is allocated regularly, for periods of 12 months. Calls to this type of selection are posted on the PPGInf website (see below).

PNPD Procedures[:en]PNPD scholarship – open call, start date in 2017

The CS Graduate Course of UFPR (PPGInf) has one open post-doctoral position starting in 2017. The duration of the scholarship is 12 months, funded by the CAPES PNPD program (Programa Nacional de Pós-Doutorado).

The candidates must send all the required documentation by email to ppginf@inf.ufpr.br up to December, 11th, 2016

The candidate must have one advisor affiliated to the program. The possible advisors and their respective research areas are available in the following links: Advisors, Research areas.

  • Up to date CV
  • Reseach project (up to 15 pages)
  • Agreement of the advisor (interest letter).

If accepted, the candidate will have to provide additional documentation (formal identification, diploma, etc.)

Deadline for submission : December 11th, 2016

Results : December 22nd, 2016.
