{"id":83,"date":"2017-06-19T19:26:39","date_gmt":"2017-06-19T22:26:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/web.inf.ufpr.br\/vri2\/?page_id=83"},"modified":"2019-10-01T15:37:58","modified_gmt":"2019-10-01T18:37:58","slug":"brazilian-sign-language-libras-hand-configurations-database","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.inf.ufpr.br\/vri\/databases\/brazilian-sign-language-libras-hand-configurations-database\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) Hand Configurations Database"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.inf.ufpr.br\/vri\/databases\/LIBRAS-HC-RGBDS-2011.tar\"><b>LIBRAS-HC-RGBDS<\/b><\/a>\u00a0is a video database containing 61 hand configurations of the Brasilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), and was acquired with the Kinect sensor, using specially developed acquisition software based on the OpenNI4 library (for more details, see <a class=\"internal-link\" href=\"https:\/\/web.inf.ufpr.br\/vri\/alumni\/andres-jesse-porfirio-msc-2013\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Five actors performed the predefined sequence of movements depicted in the Figure below twice for each hand configuration,\u00a0resulting in 610 videos (10 for each class). Besides the RGBD (red, green, blue, depth) channels, the videos also contain<br \/>\nthe skeleton of the actor, as generated by OpenNI during acquisition, allowing to track the actor\u2019s joints. Each video has\u00a0a duration of 5 to 10 seconds and VGA resolution (640 \u00d7 480 pixels).
