He received the <em>HCI Outstanding Contribution Award<\/em> from the Brazilian HCI community (2024) and the <em>Outstanding Associate of the Year Award<\/em> from the Brazilian Computer Society (2022). He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the <em data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"698\">J<a href=\"https:\/\/jis.sbc.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ournal on Interactive Systems<\/a><\/em>, a diamond open-access journal of the Brazilian Computer Society, and Associate Editor of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/journal\/jrc\/editorial-board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACM Journal on Responsible Computing<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"documentFirstHeading\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Roberto has<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">\u00a0served as Associate Editor for the Brazilian Journal on Computers in Education, <\/span>Editor-in-Chief of the <a href=\"http:\/\/horizontes.sbc.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Horizontes Magazine<\/a>, <span style=\"font-size: inherit\">and as a m<\/span>ember of the special <a href=\"http:\/\/comissoes.sbc.org.br\/ce-ihc\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Human Computer Interaction (IHC) committee<\/a> in Brazil (2016-2021).
