This set of badges presents HCI professionals who have made relevant contributions to the field and are recognised for their teaching, research or development work.
The set has 50 badges to be adapted, extended, and applied in teaching contexts. Here you can access the description of each badge:

The badges were created and have been applied to gamify HCI courses with a “thematized gamification” on important names from our communities. Thus, badges serve both for the purpose of engaging and for teaching by presenting names of professionals and their contributions to the field.
The work that resulted in this set of badges is reported in the paper “GamifiCHI: thematized badges for HCI courses“, by Roberto Pereira, Kamila Rodrigues and Milene Silveira, published and presented at the XX Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computer Systems in 2021 [1] .
